Great trip. We spent most of our time touring the estate, leaving only about 20 minutes to dash through the museum. The museum was actually great, but would take at least an hour to really go through it.

Excellent experience would recommend. Tour guide Joe was funny and knowIedgable. I took my 15 year old and she got a lot out of it as well. Breathtaking views of the Potomac. I will be back.

My sister and I enjoyed the ride and tour of Mt. Vernon. Your driver was very knowledgeable. The only down side is we wished we could have stayed just a little bit longer.

Driver late and refusal to wear a mask.

We were told to be there 20 mins before but our driver was late 10-15 minutes. So we stood for over 1/2 hour waiting. Then on our return trip we again waited for our ride and although we were promised a tour of Alexandria, we were taken directly back to the start. On our return, the driver refused to wear a mask, which made us most uncomfortable.

Though guide was +30 minutes late he was great. Provided area insights along the way. HOWEVER, two hours at Mt Vernon is not enough. Too much to see, grounds, tomb. Museums. Shopping and there are dining options! The 2 hours provided is NOT enough. Old Town Alexandria is just driver going thru a couple of streets. You should make this a full 8 hour trip 3 hrs Mt Vernon and 2 hrs in Alexandria, King Street. Mt vernon grounds and view of Potamac spectacular. Mansion and outside rooms were a great way to see how they lived!!
