after the trip I can say I wish we would have stopped at a few More places but only because I have to go back to see them up closer ;) …. Our driver (sean sully) was great and very informative. The music history of San Fran is fantastic and I had no idea what an important city it was for music.

We had a gorgeous experience on what couldn't have a been a more perfect weather day in San Francisco. Jake, our guide, was worth his weight as he eased us around the city and shared all the fun and interesting bits of information he's acquired as a life long San Franciscan. He recommended delicious bites for lunch and dinner which did not disappoint and because the weather was so wonderful, took us up to a lookout to view the bridge from the most perfect vantage point. The tour lasted about 5.5 hours and could easily have cost half again as much! Take the tour!

Great Way to See the City and Surrounding Areas in a Short Timeframe

We had a nice time on 'The Ultimate Day in the Bay Including Muir Woods' tour. We could tell that our tour guide, Shawn, lived locally - he knew so much about the area and we learned alot from him. We were transported on a mini-bus, there were maybe 20 or so seats on the bus. Everyone was directed to keep their masks on while they were on the bus and for the most part people did. Each window had a smaller window on the top that was able to be opened and almost all of the windows were left open - so the ventilation on the bus was pretty good. Throughout the tour Shawn played music based on the areas we were visiting, it was neat hearing songs I've hear before on the radio but in the place they were created/recorded. The first thing we did on the tour was cross the Golden Gate Bridge - Shawn explained the history of the bridge and stopped at a scenic overlook where we were able to take some pictures. It was a foggy/cool morning but you could still see the bay pretty well from the overlook. After that we drove through several towns on our way to Muir Woods National Park. When we arrived to the park there was a line to enter, we had our National Parks Passes with us, but there wasn't a separate entrance for people who didn't need to buy tickets - so we ended up waiting in line with everyone else which cost us some time we would have rather spent seeing the park. We liked Muir Woods, the trees were beautiful and the trails were well-maintained, it's worth a visit if you're in the area. After visiting Muir Woods we were driven to Sausalito and dropped off in town. We walked to a small Italian restaurant and ordered sandwiches/pizzas. After that we stopped at a candy shop and bought some bubble tea/chocolates which were both delicious. After we were all back on the bus, Shawn drove us into San Francisco and all around the city. It was neat to see all the different neighborhoods and learn more about the history of each place and who lives there now. At the end of the tour we were dropped off at the ferry to Alcatraz Island, we weren't going to the Island - we just wanted to see more of that area and walk around - so it was nice we had the option to finish the tour someplace other than where it started. All-in-all we enjoyed the full tour, we got to see alot of the city in a very short timeframe and we enjoyed our tour guide. I would recommend this tour to others who want to maximize their visit to San Fran and the surrounding areas.

Before I went on this trip, I was bummed to know that I was going to visit the same places I went to using the BIG BUS tour. But, boy was I wrong. I got to see some of the places such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Crooked Street, Painted Ladies, etc. from a different perspective. The BIG BUS does stop at these locations but you have to wait for the next bus to continue on. The main difference was I got to spend the right amount of time at these locations with this tour. The main highlights of this tour were Muir Woods and a visit to Sausalito. The Muir Woods was breathtaking. Experience the silence and just hear the sound of nature was soul-satisfying. To know that these trees were there even during the dinosaurs' times says a lot. Sausalito is a very cute little town with all its flora and fauna. Our guide Sean had so much insight to share with us. He shared about the history of the city and what are all the must-see locations in the area. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who is new to San Francisco.

Great Day Trip and Memories!

We had a great day trip in a nice, comfy bus with a small group of people. "Jake," our driver, was 24K and so friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the history of San Fransicso and was an excellent driver. We spent an entire hour in Sausalito, and some of the other tours I reviewed only offered 30 to 45 minutes, so this is the one to choose for more time in Sausalito. The drive to Muir Woods is a windy road and I felt complete confidence is Jake's driving abilities. We had a "crazy" cab driver on way from airport, so believe me, this is an important quality for a long day trip. I was sad when it was over because Jake made us feel like family. I Would highly recommend Dylan Tours and Jake, in particular.

Seeing all of the neighborhoods that comprise the culture of the city. Our tour guide, Jake, mentioned that he loved his job, and you cold see that he truly did, with his knowlege of the history of the city, his enthusiasm and sense of humor!!
