Adventurous One: San Juan, Crash Boat Beach, Cabo Rojo, and Bio Bay Boat Ride

Nice trip to several picturesque sites seldom visited by tourists. Emilio was a great tour guide and the group lively and fun. Too bad the pickup was late and we missed going to the lighthouse but still worth the price.

Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable about the different areas we went to during the tour. Cabo Rojo and the bioluminescence bay were some of the highlights of the trip

If you want to see all of PR, you must choose this excursion. Our tour guide, Ryan aka Papi Chulo, was the best. He knew everyone and almost everything around the island. Definitely got my money’s worth on this one, it’s an all day trip. He picked us up at our hotel at 7:30 am in San Juan and brought us back at 10 pm. In between we rode in the van a lot, but the trips weren’t long to each of the various location. He had a cooler full of drinks for adults only and those suitable for all ages. One of the guys in the van wanted to stop at a fruit stand and Ryan obliged with a stop when we drove past one. The breakfast at the cafe, along with the coffee we got there, were phenomenal. The dinner left a lot to be desired. It was at this place that served everything, pizza, Italian food, Mexican food, steak, hamburgers, etc. DO NOT GET THE STEAK. A couple on the tour did and it was like well done shoe leather, they just sawed at it for a while before giving up and ordering something else. I got the calzone, and honestly I might have enjoyed a pizza hot pocket more. At least it was edible and filled my belly. Highly recommend bringing a bag of beef jerky to smack on or for a potential meal replacement. Another alternative might be having a big lunch at crash Boat Beach. I give this excursion 4 stars, because it is great. The Bio Bay is cool, but it won’t glow as much as you thought it would. Still, it was awesome to get to see so much of the island and Ryan was the perfect tour guide. Only took a star off because the dinner restaurant should be changed and the chairs/canopy we were promised at Crash Boat Beach did not show up.

Ryan our tour guide was awesome! He did a great job keeping our group of 13 going and having fun! We loved the beach and the tour of Old San Juan.

Ryan was a great tour guide. It was an awesome day. I am glad 4 people didn't show up, as the trip would not have been enjoyable with a van that crowded. As it was, 8 people was perfect. He knew his way around and set us up well to enjoy crash boat beach.

The vendor cancelled the tour the night before stating that they did not have minimum number of participants. Thissue is that we had our Day and night planned out and covered all the places we planned to see. They provided another tour to the rainforest and although the guide was great, we did not get to see much. Very disappointed because there was not an opportunity to book other tours like this at the last minute. Also, waiting for a refund of the difference which takes 3-5 business days.
