An awesome experience for the family
, Nov 2021
What a great experience!! The transaction was easy. Finding the place was easy using our phone. The staff as friendly. They even called ahead to make sure we got there on time. They have a brief instruction on how to handle the horses. (Read the waiver carefully)They assigned our horse and we were off!! It was a beautiful ride. The trail was amazing. Each horse had its own level of temperament but all were gentle. We did have one horse that got scared of the water, just be aware. The views are amazing. It’s well worth the price we paid. It was such a great experience for my family and I.

These is probably by far the best experience in Puerto Rico. The staff and tour guide are really friendly, and the trail ride was amazing. Riding a horse on a secluded beach will be a memory of a life time! Thank you guys!!
Do not waste your time or money
, Oct 2021
This was truly a terrible experience and not worth anyones time. Please do not waste any hours driving out here. It is very clear the staff is untrained and the horses are mistreated and malnourished. To make matters worst, after our 2 and a half hour drive, the staff was rude and racist. We were not treated with the same respect as the other white horseback riders. We were quickly rushed on a horse and not given any type of introduction. It is clear they are focused on money here and pumping people in to get their rides. To make matters worse a storm was coming and they didn’t so much as mention it. We only had one tour guide with a horse who was in the front, so we were left to handle the horses ourselves with no supervision. I’ve been horseback riding in el Yunque and have had 2-3 tourguides along with us. Once we made it to the beach it started pouring rain. There was no plan for this and we were left to soak in the rain. The idiot tour guide even pulled us right into the rain to take a picture. On our way back my mom almost fell off her horse because of how untrained it was. They purposefully try to make you hit trees and do not want you to ride. We were soaked when we made it back and there was no courtesy from the staff. Please do yourself a favor and do not give any money to this location. They should spend more time feeding and caring for their horses and building out their programs before just making money off of unsuspecting visitors.

Riding in the rain
, Sep 2021
This was quite the experience. 10 min into our journey it started raining, not drizzling, but raining, and that doesn’t stop your riding. Our tour guide was Abby and she was great, full of energy and positivity! We got soaked and I lost my eye lashes in the mist, lmbo!!! I feel it would have been much more enjoyable if it hadn’t have rained, but no one has that control except God. We would definitely do this again, minus the rain!!

Iconic serene beach ride
, Sep 2021
Awesome place. Great and friendly help. Horses and trails were awesome. Beaches were amazing. Nick was a great tour guide. Only thing I will note is if you are in San Juan, this is a 2 hour drive from. So you will need a rental car to make this happen.

Definitely go if you're in the Isabella are. NOT recommended if you're in San Juan
, Aug 2021
The ride was amazing and the host was great she was kind enough to wait for us to arrive we were a little late due to us being on the other side of the Island. My hourse was Tango and I wanted to take him home with me. I wasn't very fond of the tour guide can't recall his name but he was a little rude and I didn't like the way he handled the horses. I don't like kicking animals 🥴. Also we were told that he would take pictures but when it came time to do so he literally took two picture of my group. The others got individual pics and when we asked him to take individual pics he acted as if we were inconvenienceing him...I didn't like that.

Definitely come if you are in San Juan! It has never been easier to find Tropical Trail Rides using Google Maps, Waze, or GPS. The drive is beautiful, and it's a great way to spend the day visiting one of the premiere activities on the island. Our horses are super healthy and happy!

Fun honeymoon activity, no experience necessary!
, Aug 2021
Very fun honeymoon activity, no experience necessary. We felt safe the whole time, and felt a lot more comfortable on top of horses afterwards. Would do again!
