Paris' Louvre Museum Virtual Guided Tour

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, articulate and had personality. This was the best virtual tour I have taken during COVID.

Abbie McLeans personality made the tour so enjoyable. Her view of Napoleons gifts to himself was a favorite. Her knowledge and choice of art pieces reflects her love of the subject. We plan on registering for the virtual Louvre sculpture tour and hopes she develops a Louvre series. We plan on a Louvre visit in 4/2022 and would love to have her as our our personal guide .

Fantastic!! Far too short. Very well presented. Super energy. Fact filled but with interesting historical and art-savvy perspective. The three of us are going to try to attend Abbie’s Louvre statues tour as well.

Abbie is a terrific tour guide. I really appreciated that she gave a broad overview of the Louvre itself and then focused on just a handful of works and spent time talking about each of these in more detail. She also did a good job of answering people’s questions they’d put in the chat box. And, she continued to answer and discuss until there were no more questions. While some things about in-person tours can never be replaced with technology, there are sometimes technological aspects that are better than in-person — allowing questions via a chat box is one of those better features. That way, the questions don’t interrupt the flow of the guide’s presentation, and the guide can focus at the end on only those questions that remain unanswered.

Excellent commentary. Guide was personable, knowledgable and had interesting information to share. Looking that much more forward to seeing it all in person one day.

Finally getting inside the Louvre after many trips to Paris! Abbie is an excellent guide - love her knowledge and expertise.

Loved the stories about the Greek statues, the discussion about the details of Veronese's Wedding at Cana, DaVinci's John the Baptist & the Mona Lisa. Very informative, lots of interesting details and Abbie is good at answering questions.

The guide was knowledgeable and passionate about her subjects. We very much enjoyed her. We were perplexed at the significant delay in communicating the link to the tour. Viator operators tried to be helpful but could not find a link, nor get anyone at The Tour Guy to answer the phone - for more than 24 hours. We finally received a response and a link 20 minutes before the tour began.
