What an amazing way to spend a day! The tour was just brilliant, small tour group which made it very personal and Jared was excellent. All the wine farms we visited were hidden little gems, off the beaten track, not mainstream and we would never have been able to find these on our own. Their wines were delicious! Before going on this tour the one thing I was skeptical about was the “packed lunch”. I was afraid it was not going to be enough food or not a good quality meal. I was TOTALLY wrong, the food was more than enough and we had a stunning side salad, delicious sandwich, fruit and a dessert. There are loads of other tours to choose from that are much bigger and less intimate- I almost booked one of those myself and I am so grateful that I found Platypus tours and went with this one instead. It was fantastic from start to finish and I can’t recommend it enough!

I guess the tour was as advertised, but not what I expected. This tour was strictly wine tasting, I should of booked a winery tour, one of the winery did take us a short distance to the plants. I believe in your advertisement you should make it clear this strictly wine tasting.

Amazing experience! It was my husband’s birthday and I booked the tour for him. Rob was our tour guide and he was amazing. We went to three Wineries and each of them very unique from the other one. I have learned so much about wine and the whole harvest process. It was extremely educational and fun at the same time! Rob took care of the wine we bought and made sure to hand it to us at the end of our trip! I would recommend this 100%

We had a wonderful day in Napa! We went to 3 wineries, with a great lunch at the second. We enjoyed ourselves with 3 other couples. It was nice that were picked up at our hotel. We were given the option of be dropped off in downtown Napa for dinner on our own and to uber back to our hotel. This saved us time and traffic to go back out for dinner. We highly recommend this tour!!!

So Ch a wonderful day ! James did a great job with our group. Surprised we didn’t stop at the sign for a group picture though. Our group was a fun, eclectic mix and everything went great. Lunch was good and we particularly liked the caves on stop 2 The sommelier at Ghost Block was so knowledgeable, it made up for being more of just a tasting room.

Highly recommend this tour!! Our driver Jason was THE BEST!!! He is from NAPA and was a wealth of information! He escorted us to 3 amazing wineries! All were intimate with top notch wines and beautiful settings! Each location was different and unique. There was a total of 12 fun loving people from different parts of the USA and world. Jason did a great ice breaker to allow us to get to know a bit about one another! I truly was a perfect day with great people, great wine, a delicious lunch and Jason who took care of us all!!

Chris - the driver was nice and knowledgeable, but the choice of wineries was disappointing: third tier or lower, not really even boutique, and the box lunch was pretty insulting. Tasting fees (while mentioned beforehand) were not worthy of the wines sampled. Having done vineyard tours in Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Uruguay, and Argentina, this was not even remotely close in quality of experience or value for the price. It truly lived down to the expectation of the pretentiousness of NAPA winery tours that friends had expressed to us beforehand.

This experience was amazing! My husband and I were a little nervous about the whole experience! My husband is t a wine drinker and I love it to much 🤣. Andy our tour guide for the day was so funny and welcoming and knowledgeable about everything 🍷! I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian and the lunch was perfect very accommodating. There was 12 people in our group and all were so sweet and kind! Highly recommend this company , communication with us before our trip was A+!

Our driver/guide Gary was fantastic and knowledgeable and made the day really fun. We visited three amazing vineyards and even met the owners of two of them. We didn’t feel rushed at any of the spots and had time to enjoy the tastings and take pictures. I would definitely go on another Platypus tour and recommend to anyone coming to Napa for the first time.
