Best Walking Food Tour in Los Ángeles

It was a fun experience all around! The group met Mike our tour guide at the Pitchoun French Bakery. He commented on the history of the bakery and the buildings surrounding it. This is my first solo Tour (i live in LA county and decided to explore my city) and i had a blast. The group was small, only 10 and that was the best to be able to enjoy a well planned tour and the delicacies we were to experience. As a small group our interactions with one another were great because we could listen to the stories that were being shared. Thank you for giving me such an amazing experience in sharing all your knowledge, Mike , and for being always such helper, so involved in our needs, and your wonderful and humble demeanor. Blessings!

Robbie was a phenomenal guide. Our first stop was Pitchoun Bakery and it did not disappoint. The almond croissant was out of this world. During each visit, he shared insight on what made each restaurant unique. It is obvious he loves his city and knows where to find good food.

As a traveling partner of this display name, I had a lot of issues with the extremely crowded market areas we were taken to. I would have preferred much smaller venues and far greater attention and respect for health and safety, particularly as I explained my miserable previous experience with Covid. The tour guide was knowledgeable and informative, but it was clear to me it was all about his choices in venues, safety and lack of respect for the threat of infection that was pervasive. His personal mask wearing and distance while speaking were more than inconsiderate. I do not understand this attitude. I would have preferred wider food choice options as well. This tour could have been a great deal safer without compromising the goals of the guide.

Thank you for your feedback. We take the safety of our guests very seriously. Our guides and customers wear masks when walking between the food stops, and to listen to the guide's spiel. Downtown LA is bustling and back to its former self. People are comfortably eating at Grand Central Market and have been for months now. Our guests should gage whether or not this is the right activity for them, since we are out and about in a public market and on public sidewalks. We appreciate your feedback.
