Your day starts with morning pickup from your Las Vegas hotel. Settle into the comfortable minivan for the scenic drive to Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Along the way, stretch your legs at rest stops and nibble a morning snack of muffins, crackers, granola bar and juice.
Get oriented to Bryce Canyon at park's visitor center when you arrive. Learn what the local critters such as the short-horned lizard look like; you might spot one in the canyon landscape.
Head into the park where your guide takes you to scenic lookout points along the canyon rim. You can take easy walks with your guide to reach viewpoints that showcase the canyon's horseshoe-shaped natural amphitheaters, towering hoodoos (thin rock spires) and other formations made of colorful limestone rock.
View the main amphitheater from three different levels at Inspiration Point, and admire the gnarled bristlecone pines and red hoodoos near the Boat Mesa formation. Marvel at some of Bryce Canyon’s most breathtaking hoodoos from Sunset Point and take in the multicolored the Claron Formation. Then head to Sunrise Point to gaze at pink cliffs and ponderosa pines. Your guide can recommend trail hikes at any of these points, and you can have time on your own to explore before moving on to the next lookout.
