After pickup at one of the arranged meeting points in Lake Garda, travel via comfortable coach with your guide to Venice, arriving at roughly 11am.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Venice is known as the Serenissima, the Queen of the Adriatic. Hop aboard a private boat with your guide and pass the city's top attractions, including St. Mark's Square and Cathedral, the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile (bell tower), and the Rialto Bridge.

Stunning day out in Venice great organised boat trip from the coach park to st marks square and a well organised walking tour of all the sights then an optional gondola ride or a trip around the outer islands which are both well worth the money it is a long day but we’ll worth it

Despite booking an English language tour, the bulk of the commentary was in German. The guide, Janka, was Czech and seemed happiest speaking German, although her English was perfect. After describing something in German and answering German questions, the English description was given but there was no time for questions or clarification. The optional lunch was the poorest meal we ate in Italy -€16 would buy a pasta dish or pizza and a drink in almost any of the restaurants we passed. I think it would be better to wander around with a guide book.

Hi Dear, why should an optional lunch affect the review you are doing on our tour? Lunch as you said was not included, but simply a suggestion from the guide of where to eat in Venice with € 16 .. Anyway.. because you think that a full-day trip to one of the most beautiful, characteristic and recognized cities in the world does not worth the time or money (which sounds very offensive), i explain to whom is reading what our trip includes. :) The tour includes: - Transport by bus from all the village around Lake Garda and back - Tour guide during all the day (german and english language) - Headphones during the walking tour of 45 minutes in Venice - Boat through Giudecca canal to Saint Mark square and back - All taxes, fees etc. Thank you, Best regards, Riccardo

Good tour but make sure you get the practicalities right

Good knowledgeable guide, good balance guiding vs own time. Recommend a gondola ride but if you are three or more people it is less expensive to set it up yourself instead of through the tour (plenty available). Very warm in July…. Remember to have clothing that covers knees and shoulders if you want to enter the churches. Make sure to double-check pick up point through contacting the tour operator. We had some issues here and had to call the operator. We (and two other families) were finally picked up by a taxi that took us to the bus. Would have been perfectly fine of course if had been communicated but we were accused of being in the wrong place (and we’re very happy yo have written confirmation from the operator to proof that we were not) AND ended up 10 people + driver in a taxi with 9 seats - both to and from the bus. Thankfully only for about 10 minutes but did not feel safe at all and must be illegal.

This was a good overall tour of the city of Venice. It was our first time visiting so wanted to purchase a tour to provide us with information about the history but also assistance with the logistics. This was suitable for our three teenage boys too. It gave us just about the right amount of structure and freedom to explore by ourselves which we ultimately prefer to do as a family. Frederick our guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable, he had to keep pace by speaking in both German and English which we didn't mind even though I thought I had purchased an English speaking tour (which technically it was, it was just my expectations that were slightly different).

Recommend for a taste of Venice. A wonderful day with our guide Francesco who was very knowledgeable. Gondola ride and lagoon trip were optional extra and would recommend as organisation was excellent and the day flowed well with a couple of hours free time. Just an amazing place to visit.

The tour around Venice was excellent. However, the tour guide was brilliant at walking off and leaving people behind, she nearly left us at the service station, left 2 people in St Marc’s Sq and walked off before everyone had departed the boat. Talking to another couple we found that she had done a head count at the service station and had instructed the driver to go before we got on the coach!!! Venice is beautiful and worth the trip ❤️

On a very hot day 37+" lots to see and admire. Drawbacks there are no seats anywhere so to sit down you have to visit a bar. Tour rep with Viator was excellent thought our day.

Excellent value for money if you want to do Venice in a day . Guides were excellent well informed providing some scholarly background knowledge to the city of islands. Everything included in the price with the bonus of a ' go ' in a Gondola which you share with fellow travellers otherwise it would cost a fortune ! giving you a completely different perspective of the city from canal level.

Guide Tomas was fun and friendly. The day was very hot - so we took all boat rides he offered. And we are happy we did it. Also lunch offered by viator was good: large portions, a lot of drinks and small dessert was very nice surprise all included in 15EUR.

We were the 1st pick up at Malcesine...

We were the 1st pick up at Malcesine at 7.50am and we thought there would be 5 more. Not so ! There were approximately 20 more before leaving for Venice at 9.10am. The majority of passengers were German and consequently 80 of the tour commentary from the guide was in German. Whilst we had been warned about the poor lunch option we decided to take it because the guide had warned us about hidden charges at many of the restaurants. The food was inedible and the wine undrinkable. Totally disgusting! We got back to Malcesine at 8.40 pm after the 20 or so drop offs ! My advice would be to take the local bus to Venice which goes on Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday and Friday and save yourself 70 euros for 2 and treat yourself to nice lunch.
