This activity will end right where it started.
Meet your guide at the Charleston Maritime Center in downtown Charleston 30 minutes prior to departure, and check in at the blue and white ticket booth onsite. Learn the basics of onboard safety before heading out into the Charleston Harbor. This is not a narrated tour, but the captain and first mate will be available throughout the sail to answer questions and point out local landmarks.

Cruise under the iconic span of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge as navigate along the scenic harbor, and enjoy an mellow playlist of music. See the Battery, Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie and Charleston’s scenic lighthouses from the water—with unobstructed views, this is the perfect time to snap photographs of the iconic landmarks.

Relax on deck for nature’s sunset show: the sun sets directly over the land, lighting up the clouds and waterfront. Soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase, and you’ll finish your harbor cruise back at the Maritime Center, close to some of downtowns best bars, restaurants and cafes.

The Charleston Maritime Center (owned by the City of Charleston) sadly does not offer parking to the public. However, passengers are allowed to be dropped off. As you get closer to the water look for the blue & white Sandlapper Tours ticket booth on the left dock. Feel free to call if you have questions or need help.

The Charleston Harvor Sunset cruise was relaxing. I went with my partner and we had a good time enjoying the views, the sunset and vibes. The cruise had beer and chips to purchase but nothing you would really want. The hosts weren’t as entertaining as the previous sunset cruise I’ve been on but none the less we still had a good time. I would definitely do it again. It is worth the money and time spent.

The narrators were very informative and funny.They made sure to point out every point of interest and explain the story behind it. The dolphins jumping in the water was the highlight for me. Highly recommend this sunset cruise if you are in Charleston.

The sunset cruise has amazing views! The best part is probably the last hour of the cruise. The captain and other gentleman, we’re both very very entertaining and knowledgeable. The one drawback was we were near the end of the line getting on, so we could not all sit together. It worked out though, thankfully we were able to sit in the front of the boat which has the best view during the sunset.

I would recommend this sunset tour. The staff was very friendly and entertaining. A member of the staff actually called prior to departure to make sure I was able to find the boat!!! The captain made the trip very memorable for my daughter.... we were able to see dolphins and had amazing photo opportunities throughout the cruise...I will definitely be booking with this company the next time I am in Charleston...the price was great for the experience!!!!
