Addo Elephant National Park is the third biggest reserve in South Africa at approximately 200000 hectares. The animals are in an entirely wild habitat and the Addo Elephants are renowned for being 'Gentle Giants'. They are usually quite calm, allowing for great close-up viewing and excellent photo opportunities. It is the only 'Big 7' Reserve in the World. The Park has incorporated a Marine Protected Area where, on a Marine Safari, you could see the Southern Right Whale (seasonal) & Great White Shark as well as the African Penguin and Bottlenose Dolphins. Combine this with the 'Big 5', Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard at the main park and it is now known as a 'Big 7' Reserve. The Park also boasts 5 of the 7 biomes in South Africa.

We will be at the Port Elizabeth Cruise Terminal from 08h00. We only have Cruise Ship Clients on this tour so you are assured to be back in time for your Cruise departure. We will serve the guests a picnic in the Addo Park consisting of a traditional South African “Braai” - 3 meats, salads, Rooster Brood (bread cooked on the open fire) and White Wine, Beer, Tea / Coffee, Fruit Juice and Mineral Water. Our experienced and enthusiastic Guide will do his best to locate as much of the game available in the area during your drive. As the game drive covers all time periods of the day you should have the opportunity to see most game species. The We will stop at lunch time when we serve a delicious South African “braai”. After lunch we continue with the game drive. We will leave the park at 17h00 and return to the Port of Port Elizabeth. Refreshments will be served throughout the drive.

This full day tour includes a walking city tour through the historic city of Port Elizabeth, highlights during this part of the tour include a visit to the Campanile Tower, City Hall, The City Library, Route 67 art walk, the Donkin Reserve including the best view of Port Elizabeth. The next stop is at The Dockside Brewery, a local brewery specializing in small quantities of extremely special beer, the next brewery on route is The RIchmond Hill Brewing Company where you can sample some more special local beers. The last part of the tour takes place in KwaNobuhle Township, one of the oldest and most unique townships in South Africa. The City tour is more than just visiting Museums and Old Buildings --- we will take you to a number of points of interest and we will, if it works out, do some walking and exploring as well. Our guides are familiar with all of Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas and are willing to adapt this tour to your particular needs.
